I have to disagree with you saying that the show doesn't have complex plots and themes. I actually think that JoJo is extremely philosophically dense, once you get to the later parts. Maybe not so much in Part 1, but even then, it very much establishes the moral dichotomy that the subsequent parts play off of and defy.
This makes me realize that Demon Slayer is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure with Swords and Demons in Taisho-era Japanese.

In case anyone cares to know: a lot of jojo's was parodying things like hokuto no ken and other classic shounen manga until around part 3-4. It was intentionally really goofy as a sort of way to poke fun at how silly shounen can be.
