  1. Did they watch the same movie? How did they not focus on the monsters? The movie revolves around Kong. This review is like hearing someone who walked into a McDonald's complaining that they don't serve sushi. Didn't you read the sign, dummy?

  2. They need to dial it down. I saw the gauntlet and I stopped caring, even rolled my eyes. Which really sucks because I am one of those OG closeted North American fans who used to watch Monstervision alone any time I saw it came on hoping a Godzilla movie would be in the line-up. And now I am rolling my eyes increasingly with the last two entries. They need to go back to basics. Like the 2014 movie, King of the Monsters and Kong. It was far more grounded in realism. And before you comment about how the old movies went to wild places with technology, etc. Well, those were mostly one-offs and I wouldn't say I like where this is going as. I'm going to watch it when I can pirate it.

  3. No guys. No. Do not waste your money on this.

This movie was atrociously bad. Halfway through I completely lost the plot, mostly because it was so rushed or made so little sense I stopped caring. Every single good part was in the trailer. Disgusting Hollywood slop; and normally I don't give stuff like this bad reviews – it wasn't even fun bad. I can't continue suspending disbeliefs when Godzilla literally took out Ghidorah by now who was like Twice his size and actually a huge threat, you're telling me now he can't take out Big Monkey (who is advertised as being bigger, more agile, and way more dangerous than King Kong but then… isn't?) and knock-off-frost-zilla when he's clearly one-shotting other Titans and is just powering up the entire movie?

2/10, and it only has a point because big monsters still fight each other, I guess.
Write the humans out entirely at this point and give me Godzilla vs every titan at once in Destroy All Monsters; I don't care anymore, these movies suck now just give me our boy smashing any and all opposition.

  4. This is the first video where I have disagreed with you guys in the beginning of the video.

The movie was , fun, over the top, exciting, and told a complete story.

I would have been happy if they made it a 3 hour movie honestly.

  5. I agree it’s not a good movie but I also disagree at Joe’s stance that ‘they still haven’t learnt their lesson and not focusing on the monsters’.
Idk man but there was A LOT of monster focus this time round, more than any other Monsterverse movie.
Kong had his own plot here and sadly Godzilla didn’t get anything but he still cool anyway.
It was fun to watch overall. I like the fights for what they were and yeah for movie called Godzilla X Kong yet they don’t even pair up until 3rd act and I think there’s only two scenes were they fight side by side which was cool.

  6. I actually like Godzilla 2014 movie quite a lot – really has some beautiful cinematic scenes! I like Kong Skull Island a lot too! I finished the Monarch series on Apple TV 👍🏻
