  1. Monster sanctuary is an awesome game. It has something that I haven't experienced with many monster collector games: the final boss is legitimately difficult. Maybe my team was just garbage, but it felt like you really needed to optimize your team or be prepared for heavy item usage (something I generally try to avoid).

  2. Hi, nice video like always… Moonlighter is a game I can highly recommend and I bought it last year because of you guys!! Great game and just the soundtrack alone is so good…. I am always undecided with the Ninja Gaiden games… are they really good?

  3. You know you've got a Switch game backlog when you get really excited for a game you see on sale in a SwitchUp video – only to find you've already purchased it. Probably from the last time it was recommended by Glen or Mark 🙄

  4. Your videos have had such a soothing and almost therapeutic effect on my personal 2 year pandemic "war log" so to speak, it is truely surreal. It's almost like having two close friends that are chatting about gaming, thus creating a much needed distraction from all the COVID-19 lunacy surrounding us. Having these much needed video breaks in my daily routine, felt like a breeze of calmness and provided a sense of normalcy among this really stressful period. I honestly thank you for that, it was much needed as far as I'm concerned. Personally, I keep watching your content, despite my vast gaming backlog and I'm so glad your channel has grown and evolved so much in the past 2 years, it is well earned and deserved mates!

  5. Dying Light is a top 10 if not top 5 game for the switch. If you have never played it and don't get it I don't even know what you're doing. Just bought Hob, had my eye on it for years and kept forgetting about it.

  6. MoonLighter and Monster Sanctuary are both ones which appeal to me. When will I play them!!!! 😭
Getting through Kirby a the moment at the weekends with my daughter who reminds me every day "we need to save Kirby's friends". (Am I mean for making video games a weekendholiday thing? She is only 4. )
Triangle Strategy is my evening game of choice at the moment, like a good book I need set time aside for. Ah well as is life.
Cheers for another great sale vid.

  7. My recommendation: Atelier Mysterious Trilogy bundle and individuals (Sophie, Firis, Lydie&Suelle) are on 30% sale. (the bundle is all 3 games with a discounted price, and you get the 30% discount on top of that)

My Avoid (kinda): Crown Trick. It's on 70% discount, gameplay no problems so far, 2d graphics is nice, but the interface gets a crazy fps drop when opening the in-game menu and switching tabs. If you don't mind waiting a couple seconds or 3 when navigating through the menu, it's fine. (this is on an old switch model)

  8. dynasty farters 9 is trash even with better performance on better systems, i was playing on xbox and got trapped behind 1 of those invisible gate walls where enemies spawn form and could NOT get out! had to restart checkpoiunt which was like 20 minutes back of time wasted. never happened to me in any warriors games and i been playing since dw1 on ps2

  9. In regards to Moonlighter, I've seen it advertised on this channel a whole bunch and its praises sung. I've gotta say, upon downloading it, I was hooked with the gameplay loop, but as many times as I've seen the game mentioned here, I've not seen one mention from you guys about the amount of bugs the game has. Obviously mileage may vary for some, but I'm only a couple of hours in, and textboxes are glitchy, investing in the town seems to be devoid of the Yes and No menu, even trying to craft at the blacksmith is impossible. Absolutely gutted since I was ready to sink many more hours into this, but what a disappointment. Would be great if you guys looked into it and informed Switch owners that, for as many years as this game has been out, the devs seem to have done very little to rectify the amount of bugs the game has.

  10. I ended up buying legend of skyfish. The biggest negative is the white font on the lite grey text boxes. It is a nice relaxing easy puzzle game. She does use a fishing pole as her hook as that's the story that had voice over. I couldnt read the other stuff ha

  11. I recently cleared Hob from my backlog. It’s a solid 3D action platformer but it doesn’t have any dialogue or text which can leave you feeling confused from the narrative and the little direction you get from your robot guide can feel abstruse, but it’s also it’s unique selling point. Maybe if the menu specified what the icons referred to or the map had a legend, it would have added a lot of value to the player experience. For example, I was towards the end of the game when I worked out the benefit of collecting the butterflies and if I had known earlier I would have made more of an effort to wander off the beaten track for the various collectibles Hob has to offer for completionists. The landscapes are beautiful which is enhanced by the collection of ‘vista’ points which you can access in the menu, but they are not as sharp as you would experience on a PC or PlayStation. Performance-wise, it’s mostly stable but it did stutter a couple of times especially when my sprite friends liked to pop up and fly around. Fortunately no crashes. All in all, a weekend of removing Hob from your backlog is a weekend well spent.
