A long day at Disneyland for Brandon Zucker and his family was coming to an end when the happy attendees decided they would go on one last ride to round off the day. The ride they decided on was the Roger Rabbit Car Toon Spin which debuted 6 years earlier in January of 1994. The ride is based on the Academy award winning hit film “Who framed Roger Rabbit” and was a fan favourite in the park at the time.
Within minutes disaster struck. After Brandons mother bent down to pick something up, Brandon fell out of the cab.Brandon was now trapped, and pinned down under the yellow taxi cab. The cab dragged the youngster about 10 feet before stopping. He had a ruptured diaphragm, liver, and spleen, among other major internal injuries. When the ride crushed Brandon, he went into cardiac arrest and sustained brain damage. After the accident, he was unable to walk or speak and spent more than a month in a drug-induced coma — injuries that would afflict him for the rest of his life. He spent the next 8 years of his life in and out of hospital before his death in 2009.

I think the adults were careless! Should have checked the locks / latches properly before the ride. Also making both kids sit with one adult when two other adults of the family were there wasn’t wise.

TIMES CHANGE AND IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN TRAGEDY THAT FUELLED INNOVATION AND SAFETY,THE OCEAN RANGER HAD TO SINK WITH 100 PERCENT LOSS OF LIFE TO MAKE SURVIVAL SUITS MANDATORY,AND HOW MANY PEOPLE MY AGE,LATE 50'S REMEMBER SUMMER ROAD TRIPS WITH THE KIDS SPRAWLED OUT ON THE REAR LEDGE OF A STATION WAGON REAR WINDOW,WHERE ONE ABRUPT STOP WOULD HAVE SENT US HURTLING THRU THE WINDSHIELD AND MANY DID UNTIL SEATBELTS, CHILD CAR SEATS ETC. To many accidenta in Disneyland and people are get kill on the ride to. Something about Dineyland why people get kill on the ride Disneyland today. What going on. Who in charge with the ride empolyees or the maintaining. Don't fix the ride. And people are sue Disneyland.
