  1. WWWWHOA!!!!! I need that hybrid. I wish they would hardtail a version. But man that this is cool. I like the Omichi HH strat without the normal vol knob placement. I always turn it down over a few minutes of playing. But that hybrid I must have.

  2. I'm lucky enough to own an '81 Capri Orange Telecaster that will never leave me! Love those International Series colours, just a shame they want to bring them back so my Tele isn't quite as "rare" a colour as it is now!

  3. I clearly remember playing one of those yellow Strats back in the day! As I remember it, the forearm contour was almost non existent as it was so shallow!! As for the "thing" on the Jazz Bass…. Maybe some sort of piezo pickup in the bridge?? 🤷‍♂

  4. Oh I see they did the "Ian Moore" Strat with a Tele neck… He did that in the early 90's with a true 59 Strat body and pick-ups… But I'm guessing most don't know him right off.. Well you should

  5. A Stratocaster with a Telecaster neck and headstock is just way wrong in my opinion LOL!
I do like the 70s style Strats they offer and the red Tomomi jazz bass were very cool. Great vid thanks Trogly 👍

  6. 9:18 That’s on the Fender rarities jazz bass and some other models too, I’m not sure what it is but if I had to guess, I’d say that it’s a route for the ground wire.

  7. the MiJ fenders quality control and build quality is fantastic. I'd get that Cool MiJ HSS strat over the vintera for that alone

  8. The bass is speced the way the earliest FJBs were. The knobs are VT/VT and trust me, that's not that comfortable to use. There's a good reason behind having changed that layout shortly.
The stripe from the bridge pickup to the bridge is also a vintage spec, that's how shielding was done on early FJBs. It's a thin strip of metal like a flat wire, presumably copper.
Also, the holes on the PG below the strings is where the vintage finger rest position was (and you were supposed to pick with your thumb). Those were later substituted for thumb tests above the strings like on that other precision bass in the vid, and later disappeared. Almost everybody took those off, leaving the holes, so that's a correct touch.

  9. The controls on the J bass aren't that unusual. The J originally had stack knobs when it was first introduced and then switched to the v/v/t controls that remain on the Jazz bass today…

  10. Hmmm not too sure how exclusive that Mischief Maker is actually.
To my knowledge, Anderton's actually collaborated with Fender to make the purple guitar. Maybe Exclusive in America?

I'm loving Fender Japan bringing back the 2 concentric knobs on the J Bass like it was originally. It just looks a little slicker that way!

  11. @7:35 in Japanese, it said that it’s called the boost because it’s meant to cater to scandal songs which has a variety of style ( pop , ballad , etc ) and its everything Haruna is particular about condensed into one telecaster
