Senior motoring journalist Paul Gover says car companies are wanting to see the detail of Labor’s new fuel efficiency standards.
Mr Gover joined Sky News host Peta Credlin to discuss the government’s new emissions policy.
“I think there are a lot of companies that are still wanting to see the detail,” he said.
“They want to know how it’s actually going to affect them.
“And most importantly, consumers – people buying cars.”

how is Co2 a bad gas , we would all die without it.
Labor doesn't give detail.
Take it to task and it either runs away or gets offensive. This is why a huge number of very capable and educated Australians will never endorse Labor 😊
You mean sky news jumps in before any details are given. That is what they are about. Why wait before an idea is hatched. That is sky news big agenda.
Can't believe that labor leprechaun Bowen, has so much power to F up our lives, he reminds me of Allan Joyce, both have small man syndrome. 😂
