  2. I feel like ever since Yong started doing voice acting and getting more involved with the professional and game development world, he has slowly started losing touch with the community. While he still talks about many good topics and brings many situations to light, you can tell he's starting to get cozy, and he's letting certain situations slide if it benefits him or his beneficiaries. He should be absolutely livid at the idea of microtransactions in a SINGLE PLAYER GAME, but instead, he praises the game and continues to lie and be shady about his beforehand knowledge of it.

Sadly, people apparently love DD2 and are willing to allow morally bankrupt practices so they can play their fun games. Not wanting to get on capcoms bad side. Especially those higher up game reviewers who have no risk to them because they have high-end flawless gaming rigs and receive games early and for free so they can review them. Its crazy to see how so many good respected reviewers chose to betray their communities because they are complacent. Unsub.

  3. You guys… Dragon’s Dogma 1 had micro transactions as well. Do you not remember this? It was the same stuff too. Didn’t matter then, doesn’t matter now. But did you really expect anything other than this?

Audience: i immediately apologize to you 😢😢

Triple A Execs: No way! my video game looks successful at launch? Let's add a microtransaction on offline game!

  6. DD2 is the game that we all waited for years.
But not everyone has access to those 4090. And that’s a problem.. a major one.
Even worse with constant frame dips here and there every now and then.
With all these world economic problem, for some people upgrading their pc is not a viable solution.
No one really want to not enjoy the game that they loved but being limited by capabilities of their pc and being told to ā€œsave up moreā€ or stop ā€œbeing so poorā€ it’s time to upgrade your pc etc.

This major PC performance check is what i think broke so many people heart.

And for others, the mtx is a major turn off. If it’s literally costing 1/4 of full game price for ā€œease of use-QoLā€ that’s shouldn’t even exists in the first place. Esp it’s all obtainable in-game.

  7. I felt the opposite as Yong about the combat progression. I felt like early on I was able to smoothly chain together many moves and attacks and even chain kills as I waded through the groups of mobs; but later on it just felt like a repetitive slog (jump on monster, crawl crawl crawl, stab stab stab, dismount, repeat…) and many of the moves were either something that had nothing to do with my play style or were just plain turn-offs to me, or even felt useless for the most part or extremely situational.

  8. I dunno why everyone's saying this is Cyberpunk all over again. This review is why I chose NOT to buy the game šŸ˜… He didn't go over MTX, but he did a good job about warning us of the performance and quest systems.
