New World Is a Bug Ridden Glitchy Mess of FOMO and Primal Advertising Warnings WTF with HTML code able to be used in Chat and more.
It’s the result of terrible qa, fomo and primal style branding, and a sponsorship system in game coverage that needs fixed.

  1. Had initially intended to let this game cook for another 6 months before I picked it up in the hope
some 'typical' launch issues would be ironed out by that time. At this rate, I won't be going near it at all,
the foundation of the game is like that of a Skyscraper built on top a quagmire.

  2. I put 380 hours of my life into this game and all I can say is that I truly hope no one else makes the same mistake I did. The game is absolute trash in it's current form when it comes to endgame, which is meant to focus around PVP. The PVP is so bad, so broken, and so continuously exploited by players that can't win without bugs.

  3. This game is so broken you have to wonder why they are even letting people play it. Like seriously how do you even let people into a game where you can inject PC CRASHING HTML code into chat channels?

  4. I love this video (it’s full of passion and apparent truth, as always with ACG)but I have not heard of this game until just now lol…is it because I only play Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 ? What in the hell have I been missing and for how long?💁

  5. Dude… I dont care about the game frankly, I dont play it, but I have a friend playing it and he tells me the stuff you talk about is already fixed and it was also something localized. While I do understand the wider implications and how ridiculous it sounds that a company with virtually endless capital like Amazon can publish such a flaming dumpster fire, I dont think thats how it works at all. They run this as an internal startup. That means limited resources for proving a positive business case. But the wider problem for me is that if this is true, your video is a bit misleading mate… What happened? Its a 10 minute mark video… common, I love your content but this just feel weird dude…

  6. You are 100% correct, and there really isn't much more to add to this other than what you said – check out the other channels covering the tech behind all of this and see for yourselves. I was very hesitant to jump into this game myself because it was blowing up GPUs (specifically 3090's) and didn't want to risk my hardware and now with this HTML bug, well you can imagine what kind of damage this potentially could do. Was not aware of all of this happening, and was suprised at how fast this game grew in its first week and you have helped open up my eyes. I think I am going to skip this title altogether.

  7. I love this video, regardless of my thoughts on New World, you can't gloss over details whether they're big or small. A good video shouting out good people trying to keep the community accountable and honest in a sea of others who only want a paycheck and a write-off to say whatever they want. My only critique is that I wish you would've gone more in depth on exactly the repercussions of Twitch being owned by Amazon. I can fully tell that it's a big deal, that much is obvious, but as someone who would like to know, I have no clue where to start searching and gauging exactly what that means behind the curtain and how bad that actually is. Aside from that, great video as always. I hope I see more stuff like this to keep things in line for people who are willing to listen.
