  1. Managed upto him opening his eyes and seeing the woman, basically approx 10 mins in. Low budget and a poor script. A 16Gb memory stick to store all his info of every atom ? πŸ˜‚πŸ‘Ž

  2. For an Asylum movie this was pretty good. It kept my attention all the way through. What there was of science was fanciful but that's what "suspension of disbelief" was made for. For those that weren't paying attention, It was stated at the beginning that it wasn't our solar system's Mars to which John Carter was being sent. The dialog was OK to good, not as bad as most Asylum products. Although not perfect, the special effects were good enough, after all it was released in 2009.

The down side. The acting was pretty wooden. The editing was sometimes jarring. I think there were entire scenes cut out, probably to get the movie down to a particular run time. Some of the jumping stunts were obvious wire work and momentarily took me out of that universe. Also those tusks could have been glued on better. I kept expecting one to fall off at any moment. The sword play was kind of lame.

Bottom line – despite its flaws, Avatar of Mars/Princess of Mars was a fun B movie romp that moved the plot along nicely that also had some really interesting twists and turns. Glad I took a chance on watching it.

  3. It was just OK. Like what was said before, some poor acting, wire work, editing, and the tusks as well as the CGI creatures lessened the film, it WAS 2009, and Antonio and Traci did their best with what they had!

  4. The last whatever creature that was that made it to King so to speak he sounded so much like that guy who played on men in Black. You know the farmer named Edgar, and he challenged whatever was in the UFO ship that crashed and his backyard busting up his truck. Next time we see it is a cockroach wearing an Edgar suit. Yep sounds just like him and almost some of the same lines he said on men in Black. This was really a good movie I hung out with it all the way through hate commercial though
