  1. I'm not an emotional person but seeing that poor cat setting there waiting to die even knowing it was about to be rescued really got to me. I'm sure there are people that would have said "it's only a cat" but were all so very lucky that this fireman wasn't one of them. Whoever you are thank you very much.

  3. Looks like the cat was pretty charred from the fire. Not only does fire burn the outside of a living creature but also the inside when it’s breathing in smoke and hot gases. I’ve witnessed more than a few people who sustained serious burns and were still alive, only to die an hour or so later. The cat probably died or was euthanized as a result of its injuries.
