is a square enix take on pokemon and it is CRAZY GOOD.
I adore slime rancher! I bought my new Xbox just so I could play the sequel and have been eagerly awaiting each update.

Ni no kuni is really fun. The 2nd one was good, but wish it would have stayed in the monster taming genre

I grabbed Cassette Beasts a few days ago. I had been eyeing it for a while. Really enjoying it!
Yesterday I bought both the first Nexomon and Cassette Beasts,
Nexomon because i recently replayed Nexomon Extinction and actually finished this time so I wanna go back and replay the first which I played on android around when it first came out. Then I got Cassette Beasts because of a certain someone's continuous praise of the game ;]
Considering also getting Temtem, Moonstone Island (misspelled this as Moonshine Island at first, that'd be an interesting game) and Monster Crown as well.
These unscripted, mostly unedited vids are chill, I like em but I understand wanting to move away from those kind of vids
I got a decent amount of monster taming games. Casette beasts is rad. These steam sales always hurt my wallet because of the Steamdeck 😭 playing these games on a handheld brings me back to the game boy days!
I highly recommend Slime Rancher! It's a very cute game, and the battling is very minimal. Just keep in mind the second game is early access right now!
Nexomon, Coromon, Cassette Beasts, World of Final Fantasy, and Monster Sanctuary are all fantastic games. I want to try Monster Hunter Stories, I may pick that up.

My opinion completely, but Nexomon 1 isn't even worth it for free. Combat waaaayyyyyy to simple.
Temtem is fun, but extremely tedious. Being stuck in online mode sucks. I actually don't recommend it. I also don't recommend Moonstone Island
I recommend monster sanctuary and palworld
Finally added Nexomon to my collection.

I love Monster Crown, but haven’t finished it yet. It made me go on a HUGE nostalgia trip. I have it on the Switch.
Just be careful you don’t get soft locked. I only encountered that problem once so far.
Rune Factory is basically a combination of farming game and dungeon crawler and they're very charming and fun. While monster taming isn't the primary focus, you can tame creatures (and even bosses!) to either help you on your farm or fight alongside you. Definitely worth a try if that sounds fun to you! There's also generally no rush to complete the story so if you just want to live your best life farming turnips and amassing an army of bipedal sheep while dating the local carpenter, you won't feel pressured by the story not to lol
(My personal favorite is RF3, but I've played all of the entries that were ported to Steam and they're all fun; just bear in mind that 3 and 4 were ported from the DS/3DS so the graphics aren't exactly going to be 4k)

Siralim Ultimate is the Dominions 6 of monster taming. I love the Siralim ganes, but i will recognize they might not be for everyone. I will say you get an absolute ton of value out of them, especially if you buy them on sale.
