I love this because it is reminiscent of my first watch as this was my first anime. A lot of other reaction channels that are anime heavy, overlook the shock factor and cliché breaking moments in this anime for us western media conditioned watchers. Love it! 🥰

Eren's death goes to show that NOBODY in this show is safe. It's also great to see how Mikasa adapts to living without her "reason" that Eren was, and Armin's drive to see the outside world gets so much stronger cause he's holding that dream for Eren as well.
I'm sure you're told already but just want to say that most animes are from manga/comic. One of the best qualities about animes are the voice actors so i really hope you guys will watch this in original Japanese till the end. Fantastic reactions as usual 👏🏻
Been wanting to rewatch the series, watching along with their reactions and takes on the story adds an extra layer of enjoyment.
A little word of advice:
I highly suggest not waiting too long between viewing sessions if possible. In later seasons it gets very complicated and every episode is packed with so much information that it might be hard to follow if you miss certain things.

The titans are designed in the likeness of drunk people. I remember Isayama (the author/mangaka) saying he designed them this way after observing drunk customers at his previous job. He was inspired by how they tend to stumble around aimlessly and their lack of ability to communicate even though they spoke the same language. He decided that humans were the most familiar and scary monster.
Just know when you when you see titans, their distorted features and erratic behaviour are made so because there are fewer things scarier than a giant unpredictable monster whose doesn’t communicate and only wants to eat you lol.

You really can tell they fit their houses. The slytherin was the composed one taking the lead to make the commentary,the Hufflepuff and ravenclaw are affected much. But ravenclaw recovered faster.

It's kind of nice that people edited Eren on later ep covers and stuff in memory of him the fandom deserves so much for that. He did so much for Mikasa and Armin's growth he served his purpose.
I hope you guys love this show. Please remember to be patient with it. Its mysteries go unanswered for seasons and slows down sometimes to only climax to some of the coolest shit ever. Gl this is a hard road but a rewarding one

You want heavy dark anime, watch "Grave of the Fireflies." Don't research; just watch it, especially in sub. It could easily win an Oscar alongside Oppenheimer. This is just one of many in anime, a medium that has dealt with heavy adult themes for decades.

Fun fact and I’m sure it’s already been said, but the cities we see are inspired by a real city in Northern Europe. I think it’s in either Denmark or Norway. But it’s incredible and almost identical to the show

I remember seeing the first season, and I was like this anime is so good, but with each season the anime just kept setting the bar higher with its complexity, plot changes and themes.
