"It's Like The Uncle With A Problem With His Finances!" Philip Ingram BLASTS Government Spending

James Heappey is set to quit as Armed Forces minister this month and stand down as an MP at the next election amid a row over defence spending.

The former soldier will step down from the post, which he has held since February 2020, to “pursue a different career” in a major blow to Rishi Sunak.

In a letter to his local Tory association in Wells, Somerset, he said that the time had come for him to “step away from politics” and “prioritise my family.”

Some Tory MPs expressed concerns about defence spending levels in recent weeks after there was no new money for the Armed Forces in the Budget. But sources close to Mr Heappey insisted his resignation was not a protest over military spending.

TalkTV’s Alex Phillips and Kevin O’Sullivan are joined by former senior military intelligence officer Philip Ingram who says the Government need to learn how to spend money on the armed forces in a better way.

  1. No, someone needs to ask before purchasing?! Justify your cost please, I happened to sell to the NHS back in 2005 and someone advising me that I should triple my asking price because it was the NHS 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s easy spending taxpayers money isn’t it.

  2. Really, and now they question this. Billions upon billions on the WEF covid plandemic farce, and we're still waiting for a cost benefit analysis for this one . Our incessant illegal wars for Empire and as a vassal state of the US, the middle East disaster, Ukraine disaster, the Israeli disaster, the red sea disaster, that do not benefit the Sovereign people of Britain in way whatsoever. We need a freedom of information act to force them to give us an exact account of where our tax money is going. Lord knows they have enough donors keeping them afloat especially the Israeli lobby.

  3. Like Trump said why should America pay more than anyone else and everyone else thinks America should take the brunt of it .. well he’s not going to let that happen and I don’t blame him

  4. We shouldn't be spending our money on wars that are nothing to do with us giving aid to countries we have no alliances with this money would be better spent dealing with the invasion of our country and war the people are having to suffer in the streets of the uk as a result of the invasion

  5. The answer is both. Unfortunately the cheapest doesn't mean the best value. Sometimes spending a little more gets a lot more, however MoD procurement and government commercial mechanisms don't allow it. Cheap is cheap.
