Government ‘addicted’ to PR stunts while Australians feel cost-of-living crisis

Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says the Labor government is “addicted” to PR stunts while Australians are under a cost-of-living crisis.

“It is just one PR stunt after another,” he said.

“Meanwhile you are paying a fortune for your energy bills, your grocery bills are going up.

“Mortgages are becoming unaffordable for people.

“The government continues to be addicted to these ridiculous PR shoots.”

  2. PR stunts look like complete lies when you go to the supermarket, buy fuel, pay the insurance, pay the rent. PR stunts are a slap in the face to Australians who are trying to survive when real income is falling and cost of living is rising

  4. All fellow Australian were organising a boycott of coles and Woolworths over the long Easter weekend. We’re bringing power back into the hands of the people. We’re gonna boycott them till they return their prices to pre covid

  5. Why is it that a Japanese immigrant, can come to Australia and in 3 years earn and save enough for a deposit for a house, buy his dad a new car and say how much easier it is to earn and save money in Australia over Japan. The cost of living is a world wide phenomena and not necessarily directly the fault or in control of any government.

  6. The Labor government gave a private company $20 million so they can purchase EV trucks, using tax payer's money to prop up a private sector company is corrupt big time I call for the resignation of the Primisiter and energy minister and the Governor General

  7. And no consequences at all even being voted out isn't a consequence at all, they would all walk away with a golden handshake and want for nothing anyway.

  8. Bowen is taking Australia into a very dark hole. He doesn't have a clue. The same can be said for the majority Albo and his ministers – electricity and renewables, immigration, border security, the voice, Aboriginal affairs, Defence, throwing millions at Palestine, immigration, making Agriculture increasingly more difficult, wanting to implement a digital ID, ending cash. Everything they touch they stuff up.

  9. Take a photo! A Coalition minister disagreeing with a Murdock lackey when pushed about Labor's weakness in not banning Tik Tok. Murdock Memo: vet answers before the interview. And great to see a balanced "news" item with the usual suspects. The Voice was torpedoed by the Coalition and lashingings of misinformation. It actually had majority support before negative campaigning from a back flipping Coalition roared into gear for political gain. Even announced they'll have their own referendum just to scoop up some stragglers.
