  3. 2:34 That's Sunday from HSR… which I couldn't unhear during this quest. I think they changed the voice for Huai'an a couple of times by now because I went back and checked the older Lantern Rites and those were definitely different voices. Is this foreshadowing for a character from Natlan, maybe?

  4. Have you ever watched Hell's Kitchen, or similar cooking shows? They always refer to tables by number, so I imagine it's normal for restaurants to have their tables numbered and assign waiters to a specific ranges to keep track.

    Almond Tofu is a desert, so it' be a bit odd to have soya sauce on it… but there is the salty-sweet combination of flavours (like salt on shortbread, or sour cream on cheesecake.)

  5. 1:00:30 Faruzan (Haravatat) basically said she took a huge paycut to screw everyone (from Kaveh's Kshahrewar darshan) over and that's how she got the job… even though she's from the linguistics and ancient texts darshan. That's also where Alhaitham is from and that's also why he knows 20+ languages because that seems to be a prerequisite for that Darshan. Layla (Rtawahist) and Cyno or Lisa (Spantamad) probably never had to learn at least 20+ languages.

  6. I've been playing for 2 years and I still cook quite a bit. I make sure to obtain every recipe available and make a handful of every dish. I have my favorites that I keep around 100 of at all times, and when a new character comes out i make a point to cook their specialty.

  7. Didn't expect you guys to record this event, what a nice surprise!

    Huai'an (the innkeeper) sounds different in jp too, and he's shown his carpenter skills a few times now (in daily quests and a previous Lantern Rite). I can't help but gushing over both npc consistency and lack thereof lol

    Using food in dmg showcase is just lame, so while I still go out of my way to get new recipes and cook them, I only use Sweet Madames and Fried Eggs. Also, 51M mora and 3 crowns ever used in 4 years…definitely hoarder behavior 🤣

    Soy sauce on Almond Tofu doesn't sound that bad..but it could be that I tried icecream with it instead of chocolate before (it was quite a hype for some time here)

    1:07:13 I guess you did play the beetle event off-screen? His Crimson Staff barely won against Blume Pruner at its 0.01% power, was it the second win ever I wonder?? Love that smaller events start to have voiceover now!

    They seem to be hinting that Amber's missing grandpa is/was in Natlan hmmmm
