Could you have obtained the insurance info from the 3rd party and have made a claim with them? I'm surprised Turo didn't advise ypu to try that first. Also, I don't understand how Turo could penalize you guys when it's out of your control.
The curse continues, but you can just replace the Honda with another Yaris or maybe a corolla? Something possibly midsize to replace the accord once Turo gets back to you guys. It's a bummer because I remember when the passenger front wheel was turned the other way and it was basically on 3 wheels. Rip Accord, you and your tan interior will be missed. 😔

I figured it was going to be up there in price. That rear body panel was crushed and when that happens, the floor pan goes with it.
Well hopefully you get paid a good amount so you can replace it.

Insurance company is correct same thing happened to me personally got rear ended and rear ended someone else in front of me , the person I tear ended / insurance never contacted me or my insurance they read the report and it all boiled down to who started the chain
If you contacted the third party insurance company instead of Toro the third party insurance would have paid you directly but I understand you didn't know 3rd party
How do you determine a the actual cash value? Or how does Turo calculate actual cash value when paying a claim?
