  1. The moon's surface is very cold, they won't need water to cool the reactors, and if anything goes wrong they also don't have to worry about a meltdown. It is the moon and they're in space also the atmosphere is very thin. Any radioactive fallout would have gotten into space.

  2. * A nuclear power source is a logical first step towards manufacturing anything on the moon. No power implies no manufacturing, no moon base. Simple as that!

  3. China & Russia wanted to build nuclear power plant on the moon … Bond villain. But US (Nasa) brought nuclear power generator to the moon … that's not bad.

  4. These half cooked journalists have no idea what the hell they are talking about. NASA has been using RTGs since Apollo which are entirely different from setting up entire nuclear reactors on moon. For god's sake please get at least some technical knowledge or at least get your writer to do it. A crashed nuclear payload won't go Nagasaki on the moon. In fact, even bombs supposed to detonate have sometimes failed to do so. Its not your diwali cracker.

  5. Russia is not capable of landing a rocket πŸš€ on the moon and they are talking to build a plant?? After the war in Ukraine the Russian technology will be back to the stone age when the next cold war Soviet Union period starts…
