  7. Happy Birthday Ed! Heard about this from a friend, not surprised considering how garbage steams approval system is, they let literal bitcoin miners posing as games release on their store. they really need to get their act together.

  11. Heard about this recently and tbh I was shocked how easy this was for the Scammer to pull off. Oh and I don't buy Steam Keys either I always buy directly from Steam or some other reputable digital Store like Epic or GOG.

  17. Yes this scam happen from way back then, now its getting more n more serious. Its not just player, even many game dev is making a loss because of this scam. Steam really need to fix their system better n try to clean this shit

  36. Happy Birthday Ed! I hope Steam and any other possible platform can get these scams under control soon. I tend to use steam a lot and gift games to friends, would hate to find out i'm sending scammy games to them.

  40. That's crazy I had no idea about all that. I had Palworld wishlisted before launch, so I wasn't affected.
    And it also shows why I buy my games directly through Steam. They will be able to refund the people who bought the scam versions of these games, but people who bought the keys offsite are kinda screwed. Hopefully not too many people were affected by it.
