IMHO, and I gotta get this down somewhere but… the Remakes are a massive, bloated, distracting, tedious, messy, clunky, unfocussed, overindulgant mess. I honestly just can't with these games anymore. they don't shut-up or leave you alone and there's too much fluff and no time to breathe. Every moment is undercut by the next one and there is no earnest, emotional or profound bone in its body. Makes me so sad.
If others like it, thats fine, but yeh, not for me, and it hurts. I guess there's always the original game.
(Oh, and as usual, before y'all screech and complain and bully me in the comments like gamers always do when you don't love something like they too… I have every right to write a comment, no matter if its positive or negative. Live with it.)
