Comic Books Reek Of “Babygirl” Vibes | Comics Aficionados

Marvel Comics are driving the comic book industry off a cliff. Comic books have more in common with babygirl vibes that super-heroics these days. Worst of all is the discourse created by Marvel’s Voices: Pride: X-Men: The Wedding Special. The Comics Aficionados debate the latest comic book news and rumors live on Thinking Critical YouTube. The Aficionados talk about how DC and Marvel fans have had enough with the gay shit. Publishers tried to incorporate LGBTQ slice-of-life stories into superhero comics and it never worked. Comic book reek of babygirl vibes.

  1. It’s like Jonah Goldberg said, SJWs all want to live in a world where they are heroes fighting for justice. Lacking one, they fight against justice and call it oppression all the same. Anything to keep them from boredom.

  2. Imagine what we could do as comic fans stand up, stopped being complacent and stopped and we boycotted Marvel and DC for these bad stories and pandering.
If we only Buy back issues. The money would dry up. They would have to make a change. When the DEI editors writers artists can't pay the rent just see what happens.
Look at the videogame community and they are pushing to avoid games that sweetbaby inc.have worked on and now Suicide Squade kill the JLA won't last the year.
We need to do the same to comics, the writers and editors. Comic books have strayed away from "SUPER HEROs" from young kids being able to pick up these books and enjoy them like we did.
Bring great stories of superheros, super villains, mad scientists and actual super criminals. Eisner spirit level stories.
Stand up for comics ! Support local stores, independent comics, buy back issues.
    But Boycott Marvel and DC.

  3. I thought that whole babygirl thing came from the suicide squad scene where we see Harley meet Posion Ivy but posion ivy regrew into a child and the question becomes does Harley still find Ivy attracted to her while Ivy was “girl” or does the relationship go to mother daughter (who knows how fast poison ivy matures into adult is it slow or fast

  4. Damn straight you can’t do anything with these characters once a writer decides they are lgbt.

They are such a cliche that every time they try to bring a Rawhide Kid story to light they inevitably have him saying “Slap Leather” as his catchphrase.

I’d love to see Ben Grimm get these writers into a room and yell his catchphrase “It’s Clobberin Time!”

  5. A lot of DC Comics and Marvel Comics comic books and graphic novels, and super-hero characters from the 1980s and early 1990s didn't really have any politics in them. If they ever did, it was so subtle that you could barely notice it. But unfortunately, the reason why politics is so in your face today is because the metaphors are so on the nose and they bash the comic book readers over the head with soy woke S.J.W. crap politics like a cave man with a club.

It's been like that ever since 1995 but it got worse and worse every ten years. In 2005, they weren't even trying to hide it anymore. In 2015, they went full N.P.C. with the Politically Correct cancel culture bullshit agenda. It's been like that ever since. Do yourself a big favor, collect DC and Marvel back issues from 1994 and earlier. The art and the writing was way better.

  6. Missed the live taking a friend around town. Hateful 8 is in my top 2 favorite Tarantino films. I feel the same way about Django as Wes does about Hateful 8.

I also hated Inglourious Basterds the first time but on a second and third watch I really appreciated it. Had great moments.

  7. They have just been destroying characters in stereotypes. These characters are more than their secondary traits. Iceman has been destroy by BMB and all the editors had to do was just say no. It’s the same thing with Tim Drake, Allen Scott and Harley Quinn. No one buys the pride issues and they know that these characters being lgbt isn’t working.

Just to add on to this. It’s a huge disservice to establish LGBT Plus characters and the fans who are LGBT plus. Because they are written as perfect people. Most of these writers have no life experience. Money does talk.
