A very unexpected, and very pleasant surprise when I realized the narrator was an actual human, and not an A-I! I then read the comment that the story was written by a human, and in fact, most everything concerning the story was done by humans. BRAVO!! The narrator took a great story and did a simply MAGNIFICENT job of introducing emotion as well as different personalities into the narrative, including dazed, scared or frantic breathlessness, irritated dismissiveness, disgust, warm pride, anger, defiant fury, fearful alertness, ect. as appropriate. Nice, one of the few stories where humanity is not the utopian united species. There are others where they are not united, but they are depicted way too optimistically.
