  1. oh i tried it out today but i think you can only have 3 monsters because it replaces them. just not for me. (unless i understood smth wrong) i like to keep my monsters and bond and stuff. fighting was something new though.

  2. I do like the Dice and Poker variants on game mechanics in games of recent years. There is a surprising amount of gameplay altering mechanics you can build into manipulating the familiar concept, but I don't think this is particularly great. Praise the attempt but meh.

  3. I plowed through six or seven runs of Dicefolk this week. It's grabbed me like no roguelike since Slay the Spire has. One key feature that wasn't mentioned here: the combat revolves around playing both your own AND the enemy's dice in the most optimal order. Since you have the huge advantage of being able to make the enemy perform the stupidest move possible, it allows the game to make enemy bosses insanely powerful but completely manageable. Basically, this game made me feel clever so many times. If you're on the fence about it, I urge you to try it. It's a great price for the wealth of content, too.

  4. wasn't really a fan of what it offered, it was a bit too shallow. I have a similar dungeon dice monsters inspired game I wanna make on my list, as a minigame of a bigger game I'm working on, which has more depth to it on just the initial stage than this game. A pass from me on this.

  5. there's this new f2p game called Duel Revolution. There's drama there. I think the catching rate there is broken and almost never let's you catch the mons. check it out. as always love ur vids <3

  6. Kind of related/unrelated, but monster taming games REALLY need to break out of the PC exclusive crowd.
There's so many games I want to try and play that are trapped on Steam that would fit nicely on the digital stores of consoles.

  7. Tried out Dicefolk. Way too easy IMO, haven't had a single loss so far (cleared the main quest and have started to plow through trials without much issue).
