"Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters" primary VFX animation contractor was Framestore in London and Vancouver, not WETA (with the others being Scanline, MPC , DNeg and Rodeo FX). WETA's involvement was minimal and was mostly design work. Check the credits. WETA was extremely busy on "GxK" FX when Monarch was in post.
He wasn't messing with Kong, Top G doesn't want to kill titans or mess with them. He wants them in check, because if left to run wild you get the badder ones wanting to terraform the planet to the needs of that titans species specifics like King Gidorah tried to do. G-man just want the f'ers to be cool.
