  1. It's not just 3's, it's the offensive fouls that never get called, the lack of resistance on defense and on top of that teams only want to take 3 pointers

    And….the refs decide the games.

  2. I recently went back and watched some 1990's classic games (Bull's v Sonics, Bulls v Magic). My conclusion? Today's game is so much more skilled and more entertaining. And, I grew up watching 90's 🏀.

  3. Perk is preaching. So many players have developed bad habits like he said but it also falls on the HC. Some coaches play to their strengths but there hasn’t been many players dominating the paint like before. I think some teams will eventually get into more bully ball but there are so many BS rules and calls against that too 😪

  4. The 3-point line should be moved further back, to make it more difficult to score threes. Nowadays it's pretty much the team that shoots threes at a higher percentage that wins the game. Dunks and mid-range shots used to play a bigger role in the '90s, which I kinda miss.

  5. I love the 3’s and if we being honest today’s basketball & the upcoming players the only thing they really in the gym working on is shooting the ball rather it’s 3s, in the paint or free throws!!! Nobody’s worried about layups or dunks because it’s so simple so easy to do like lacing your shoe simple

  6. Completely agree. The rules make it so these teams all take stupid threes, so if a team misses their dumb threes and the other gets lucky and makes their dumb threes it's a blowout. The stupidity of the game makes it too hard to watch.

  7. If you hate the excessive 3's then make the 3 point shot into a 2.5 pt shot and players wont take it as much because it wouldn't be worth it. Dont hate on the young generation for seeing what works on TV. Taking a midrange or a deep 2 is stupidity since you can take 1 step further and shoot a 3 pointer. Dont hate the player, hate the game.

  8. I'm from this era and to be honest I like the mid range more than the 3 pt, I don't think it's bad to shoot 3 pt shots but there are many teams that want to depend on that, they prefer to give an unnecessary extra pass or receive a block in the paint before taking a mid range shot

  10. 3 points are not ruining basketball people thought that the dunk was going to ruin it or the crossover dribble was going to ruin it i mean please just stop it 😂😂😂😂😂

  11. Yeah, highlight Luka’s strengths in a game 4 when he’s playing against scrubs, as if it means anything. NBA wants to maximize games for profit, as does the organizations. Wake up and stop pretending this isn’t true – money never fails, stupid.

  12. People will copy those who win. Golden State become champion because they dominate the 3 point line more importantly they have the best shooters. Dallas win because they make 20 3pointers. Can they do it for another 3 games. Nahh…

  13. Luka would go to Chicago hood where mfs are hooping with guns and luka would talk trash to those mfs and let me tell you what those Chicago mfs would love him. 😂😂 I think luka is one of the white dudes in the history of the league even the OG appreciate

  14. Teams are too reliant on 3 point shooting. Teams are actually scoring less these playoffs because of how inefficient these teams are. The problem is that EVERYONE is shooting 3’s. Only 35%+ shooters should be taking those shots. Everyone else needs to focus on higher % shots.

  15. I have no issues with teams taking threes but when they are not falling, the gameplan has to change. This decision to live and die by the 3 is why Dallas is getting knocked out. In the 2nd half of game 2, when their 3s stopped falling, they kept taking them instead of changing the gameplan. There is a valid reason for going to the hoop when shots are not falling. Its to try and rediscover some rhythm. Old heads aren't saying it to hate.

  16. 90s utah jazz back then had boring pattern of offense style with pick n roll routines by stockton and malone but now compared to 3point contest in a game initiates by steve kerr I am preferred to watch 90s utah jazz

  17. When the Nuggets had a WIDE OPEN lay up a couple years ago at the end of regulation to tie the game and Murray kicked it out for a 3 instead of going for the lay up I knew the NBA as it used to be was dead forever , players are shooting way way too many 3s

  18. Kendrick Perkins Is More Old School Than New School So That Is Why He Said What He Said…..Blame It On The Rules Instead Of The Players In My Honest Opinion!!!

  19. Nothing is Wrong with the 3 point shot. The Players and Coaches have to get better! Plain and Simple. A missed shot is a missed shot whether its a dunk, mid range or 3. Contested or uncontested. All these people are complaining because A guy like steph curry is dominating the league with skill instead of a Super dupper athletic low IQ player because he is physically gifted. thats not basketball.
