HFY is a story/series that takes a “human element” in either humanity or an “other” (race/species or object) that exists in a “setting” (future or other world/universe) with varying levels of culture, technology, society and history that help show in some shape or form the potential good or bad for humanity’s race/culture. In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.

Humans Are Space Orcs (HASO) or Humans Are (Fantasy Race) Are used as a guide when writing.
In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don’t always put a positive spin on humanshumanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

Many HFY stories I have enjoyed. But this one, conceptually, puts my own Strike From Shadow series to shame.
AKA when humanity went Ninja probably using an SCP mimetic weapon. Seriously someone needs to do a story where the aliens invade and something like the SCP Foundation turns every anomaly in containment on them.

Hello agro. I’m have a suggestion. Have you heard of the sci-fi story “Wearing power armor to a magic school”? I am aware of the fact that the channel Net Narrator did this story , however you need to be a member to listen to more than half of it! So I wanted to suggest this to add to any other ideas you may have for future narration projects. Now I’m not saying you have to but I would be very happy if you considered it. Please reply if able. I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

I only read a few comments, but i went a different route from what i was reading.
I saw this as humans perfecting the hyper jump down to the personal level. They are there, but then again they are not. They can go about their days, living normal lives and being selectively visible, dogs and researchers, so as to still live normal lives. There was a hint about subconscious training….the ball was a delivery system to "train" the aliens not to see the few times they did catch a glimpse.
Only after the neural training, was the ball used as a life line for the aliens.
All the "accidents" were the result of the phase shifted, or continuously hyper jumping, humans.
Just my take.
