  1. Everyone knows this game has so much potential PVP and PVE it’s original in many ways as an mmorpg. But they need to fix it. They could have the most successful mmo game ever but they make people leave out of frustration

  2. Heya, enjoy your content. Ive had to reduce my graphics from ultra to high and that works for me. Was wondering if you recording software is eating up your performance, just a thought?

  3. The loading screen likes to lock up my computer. Alt+F4? Nothing happens. Alt+Tab? Screen stays stuck on the game window after releasing the keys, keeping me from even using Task Manager. The only thing I can do is sign out of my computer account and log back in.

  5. I know this is likely irrelevant to your problems with the game as my friends and I play on Xbox NA servers and not PC NA. But, before the Ascending Tides DLC was active, my friend could not log in the play the game whatsoever. She managed to be able to log in twice after hours of fighting the login screen. It would be “loading” and suddenly she was getting the “booted due to inactivity” message.

this went on for a few months, actually. She submitted a ticket and was met with “It could be your internet connection” and we were both left thinking “You’d think as players who play this game religiously, we would have definitely known if it were the internet.” To say the least, it was definitely not her internet. However, I finally suggested that she switched to Xbox EU server, load in, and then switch back to see if it would fix it.

Fortunately, it fixed her problem, but I can’t help but think ZOS/ESO/Bethesda Customer Service is getting a little worse in terms of actually trying to help their players play the game they created.

  6. A game which promotes alts, trying to do writs in the morning is so painful, switching from one character to another it takes 3-5 minutes is not good lmao.

  8. I've recently got into this game and managed to get a character pretty lv up. But its gotten to a point where it makes my entire console freeze up and not even turn on for a while, its ridiculous especially of you have eso plus.

  9. I've been playing this game since Beta and you are absolutely correct, the quality tanked since the Ascending Tide update. I am hoping it will get better. Same as you I want to show what a wonderful game this is but heckadoodles it's been a bit rough these last few weeks. I am confident they will eventually figure it out. Sometimes they stay silent because they have no info to give on certain bugs and how they can fix it. They do patch regularly so I am sure they will sneak in a few fixes here and there that will bring the game back up to 'usual expecations'.

  10. ZOS might start purposely blocking add-ons compatibility. I wonder how many PC players would still find the vanilla game worth playing as is. PC can straight do things console cannot and has been able to for a long time I wouldn't be surprised if microsoft decided to level the playing field. The game is still incredible, but the training wheels would just have to come off imo. Maybe you could try it without any addons and see if you can enjoy it. Hope things work out for you though 👊

  11. As a Primarily PvP player in Cyro, these performance issues have been going on since launch. The devs have not cared for quite a while, so long as they continue to get paid through the crown store.

  12. So weird. Dunno if they fixed it in the last 18 days since I've been on hiatus from the game for a while, but I've had none of these problems and my rig isn't very good… I mean I had some of these issues on the PTS, but none on the main server. The performance lately hasn't been the best its ever been, but I didn't know it was this bad for some people!

  13. PvP Targeting is a joke, I tested it on my dummy compared to old videos… they shrank the ranged window down to near nothing, and I have to fully reacquire the target when I bar swap……………. this is on top of the lag, and the effortless unstunable, un-CCable movement they gave all the run away kite builds the past few years… you have dudes in the middle of a 50 v 50 just running around and no can hit them, wth. all these changes, all these things removed (like seeing a friendly destro and stuff like that, simplifying all the sets to mediocrity and dumbing down customization of champ points to "Pick 4!", and the game still runs worse than ever……. wow

  14. I was the #1 pvper back in 2014-2015 "critpownow" and have played on and off since then, now.. the game is literally unplayable.. I can't animation cancel anymore, I can't skill cancel into ani cancel into skill bomb anymore.. I was an above average to elite scale DPSer in PvE I was clocked at 139k dps back when websites were pushing how their guides were amazing hitting 105k dps.. I was asked for in groups in PSN groups hourly, I had people messaging me offering to pay me to stop pvping, or to solo run them through a vet mode dungeon.. This isn't a speel on big noting myself, it's just going to show how ESO stability is causing players who shipped this game into oblivion, to quit. I've lost friends due to this, I've lost literal income from this. Bethesda does not care about ESO anymore, they just care about pushing the expansion out every 3 Months to get the cash flow.

  15. Aloha^^ corse a litle time ago on PC EU i have the same problems but i fixed it neary for me. I deinstalled the hole game with all addons and then i reinstalled the hole game with all addons. it helped me with the issiu with the endless loading srcreans and fixed it. maby it helps. olso with performenc i put up the option ingame on Video options with presentation via separate thread, i turned it on and on pve and normal open world and dongeons etc. But the problem with some special addons i olso cant fixed and i i use them i get rendomly kicked out of the game. Also there is nothing how to fix the server lags in cyrodiil corse zos have to fix the cyro servers. if you have olready done this i have nothing wrote. And olso sorry i´m nearly an only pvp cyro dude but in that case i realy know what is frustation with performence. after the first 2 years since releas corse i´m realy nearly only in cyro i call the game one tamriel, one lag^^ But i´m olso in love with the game so i cant quit it with all the issius, realy i cant xD so have fun and i hope it will help. and there is one other thing, the game will get you out faster of loading screans with your main char but oll other twinks will have long loading screans because they are outsourced from the game and every time you log in with your twings it need to reload to the game -.- And yes my english is a litle bit bad corse im German/Polish and learned it only in scool 😛

  16. Have you tried turning off Multithreaded Rendering in video settings?
When Deadlands dropped, stuff was loading in really slow and I couldn't even see monsters during combat.
I could use area effect spells to kill mobs but not anything that required a target.
So I asked in zone chat if anyone else was having this problem and someone told me to try turning it off and it worked for me.

  17. For me the issues I was having around this time where due to not having HDR enabled. (HDR is high dynamic range, it lets your game have more color range) This setting was in the text files for ESO, there is no in game setting for it. HDR also has to be enabled in windows, but do not have auto HDR on.

For me my rig has an intel I7 with 12 cores, at 4Ghz or so. I have 64 GB of ddr 4 ram, at a good speed. I have a NVIDIA RTX Quadro 5000, which is a VERY nice graphics card. I was getting around 10 fps for a very long time. The interesting issue was that with higher graphics I would get more FPS for a time, but then the game would crash. I do not know exactly how ESO works under the hood, but it was clear to me that the higher graphics settings were somehow allowing for more memory to be allocated to graphics.

The problem arose that due to having auto HDR on in windows, but not having HDR on in the settings text file, my rig was taking each pixel in each frame and converting it from what I would assume was some form of sRGB(standard red green blue, less colors), and then upscaling it to some sort of WCG(wide color gamut, more colors). To put it simply the fact that ESO has an option for native HDR rendering, but it is not in the game menu, and windows has HDR, but only for some users, and it is automatically enabled only on some systems, and only a few users have HDR capable rigs, means that this problem is probably unknown to the ESO devs. And this problem is essentially what would be classified as a logic bomb. If a memory leak is "darkness" then a logic bomb is "advanced darkness". So instead of a simple memory leak, that you could spot with basic dev tools, you have a logic bomb that only happens to a few players with very nice rigs, and messed up settings.

The problem is easy to fix, depending on which version of windows you have. First step decide if HDR is something you want, for me it has little impact now that my settings are good. Second go into windows display settings and turn HDR on, and make sure auto HDR is off. Third go into the ESO, find "SET HDR_MODE" and set it to "1" (with both ").

This setting sometimes gets overwritten, and you might have to set it back to 1.

If you do not want HDR, then make sure all the settings listed above, in both ESO and windows are OFF.
