Today we are back with another fun 80’s creature feature film, Neon Maniacs. It was released in 1986 under two titles, Neon Maniacs and Evil Dead Warriors. The original script was much bigger and was supposed to have 27 monsters. However, the filmmakers were on a tight budget and had really ambitious dreams. They decided to swing it anyway and managed to create a great fest of a dozen monsters in this film. Each of them was unique in its own way with different abilities and looks, and each of them even had a favorite way of killing people. So, let us see what these new creatures have in store for us today.

OMG…I LOVE this movie! It’s so wonderfully awful in that RAD 80s way. This is a DEEP CUT, not too many people know about this movie. Luckily it’s on YouTube to watch. Kudos to you for digging this one out!

I bought this movie for 80 dollars on VHS back in 1990 it was one of the few left . I used to stay up after midnight just to catch it on HBO as a kid around 1986 always on a school night this and Highlander . Lol Archer was the best . 🩸

It’s good to know there’s an audience out there for this fun movie. It’s very imaginative.
I rented this movie when it was recommended by Fangoria magazine and was profoundly disappointed. They made it sound like the title suggested… a high-energy, crazy, manic film. Instead it was slow, plodding, and boring. The titular maniacs made Romero's Night of the Living Dead look like Train To Busan in comparison.
I absolutely loved the character Paula. Soo charming! I don't understand why this was her only movie.
