Sky News host Paul Murray sends “strength and love” to the victims of Victoria’s bushfire in the Grampians region, particularly those in Pomonal, which took the brunt of the fire damage.
“Strength and love particularly to the people in the Grampians region, a region of Victoria, they are still recovering from the bushfire that’s been there over the past couple of days,” Mr Murray said.
“There’s a particular part I want to shout out though, which is Pomonal … they suffered the bulk of the bushfire, and many properties have been destroyed.
Firefighters in the region have called on the state government to address the issue.
United Firefighters Union boss Peter Marshall demanded the state address the ‘catastrophic’ state of firefighting resources posing ‘untold risk’ to Victorians.

One should question the idea of unions claiming that the fire trucks are not reliable, with cracking doors and similar. One question is, why haven't these fire trucks not been maintained and serviced properly in the first place? How can it be that all trucks are not fit for use at the same time?
This might need an independent investigation to find out what is actually going on.
