The Earth broke before the humans did
Yeah that’s shit. It’s all rubbish and not even a little bit believable. To explode the earth requires 1.8 million billion Tsar bomba 50 mega ton nukes. The biggest by far nuke ever detonated. That would have just enough energy to get every bit of earth to escape velocity of 11.2 km/s. Unless you do that then gravity holds it together.
So this story applies rods from god to the surface that only have 1 kilo ton of energy and destabilisers that shake and crack earth. There just isn’t any directed energy that can get anything moving. Let alone everything moving. Remember early earth was hit by Thea a planet about half the size of earth. This collision blew Thea and half of the earth to nothing but atoms and it all just coalesced into an even bigger earth plus the moon. And that was directed kinetic energy and it still couldn’t destroy the earth.
So shaking earth isn’t the correct application of energy no matter how much you add, to blow the earth. The earth had a core and the layers of the mantle and the entire surface molten for a billion years and earth didn’t blow. So making a few million volcanoes isn5 going to do anythin* except spew sulphur dioxide and carbon dioxide into the air. Yep earth has had that stage as well and we survived that without blowing up as well.
Gravity is a bitch. It’s such a bitch that if it was on,y about 2% stronger then our chemical rockets wouldn’t have been enough ‘go’, thrust to fuel mass and rocket body mass to get anything to orbit. It’s called ‘The tyranny of the rocket equation.’ Sure now we could just make it, just. But when we started out we would never have gotten anything to space. Not even an empty rocket.
Yeah, so gravity is a thing and this story is a pathetic joke.
