Outcast:New Beginning is going to be a fun title.
outcast looks interesting for me 😉
I played Star Truck. Really cool combo of Euro Truck Simulator + space game. Recommend checking it out.
2024 finna be hype
Underspace looks soooo bad. Looking forward to elites new ships and other content. And the new features.
Outcast was special back in the day. To me it is the first open world game, not to mention its destructible environment (thank you MMX processors). Its 90s sci-fi navy seal cinema story with orchestral soundtrack won my heart!
It isn't 3D, but you should check out Nova Drift. I'd be hard pressed to name a game set in space that I like more. It's in open beta, and comes out this summer. Been playing for a few years now, and the devs just keep adding more stuff. And unlike Star Citizen, the features they add actually work 😅
If you hadn't said you were playing Underspace, I would have thought you were playing Freelancer from 2003
Star Trucker also
Interesting ♨now ❤❤❤❤❤
Underspace let’s goooooooo
Hell Galaxy sounds like it could be good, as for the rest. nah
I’m tired of one size fits all space games and think that honing in on something specific like an rpg or something, is more interesting. Of course the thing it hones in on still needs to be interesting. Otherwise, pass! I’ll just stick with Starfield.
You forgot the game Solar Expanse! Its an indie game which starts in 2020 but can end with extra solar Colonization. You start with a few rockets and can land on all Objects in the Solar system.
Huge potential, try out the demo!
My dream space game: Think something that controls and plays like EVE but it's fully single-player, polished, same interface and feel. Start low, choose your path; pirate, miner, military, freelancer, anything you can think of and then you just work your way up. Build a corp, hire people based on skill, pay them salary, build up massive space stations that take months and tons of resources, take over zones by war, politically or with influence. Just this "make your own space adventure" solo game, that controls with the mouse, where stuff takes time and you build yourself over over a long time.
Outcast looks like avatar by Ubisoft. Probably boring.
its sad that most space games never come to console
Underspace has got my attention for a while. Sunless Skies and Freelancer combined is a big win. Eldritch beings are always welcome.
I never heard of the other games on this list so I have a ton to check out.
The Darkest Star is already very promising. Thanks for the discovery. Definitely put in my wishlist.
Idk, nothing can really beat X4 Foundations
dude you gotta try underspace, It's likely the best game on this list.
Maybe not "all". I see Breachway isn't on here. Star trucker. Probably others?
Hell Galaxy 🤟
Outcast looks interesting, i'm gonna check it out, thank you 👍
Outcast looks like a fun game but it lacks the "Space" in this space game list.
underspace looks like a total conversion mod for Freelancer
Thanks.
Outcast just reads as a Darkvoid sequel to me.
That's not a bad thing at all
But you missed Captain Hardcore – free demo. No actual space game play (not that I know) 🤣😎
Out of all those games Outcast looks interesting but the 20 minutes limit is just stupid. Why not make a vertical slice of a part of a game and just let people have fun with it?
I hope you can at least replay the 20 minutes to have a better idea of what the options are.
Looks good, but Outcast isn't really a space game, probably could've been covered by something else.
Check out Xenu Runners. Suit Racing on an alien Landscape. I had lots of fun with the beautiful high speed demo.
A shame Hyperspace was not part of the Fest.
We are getting machines an order of magnitud faster than 15/20 years ago yet games and game development seems stagnant. Same graphics, same formulaic gameplay. Must be a bitch to develop for Unreal Engine 5 and improve concepts. Middleware tools are too blame in my opinion.
I got goosebumps when I saw Underspace. You think I wouldn't recognise a spiritual successor to Freelancer when I saw it?! YAY
None if these look interesting to me.
This needs Grimmstar
the graphics for Outcast look amazing
Very underwhelming, to be honest.
Looks like 2024 is going to be another lousy year for gaming… what utter garbage
Had a go with Space Trucker (not Star Trucker). VR only and only a brief demo but could have promise.
Hey Ant how come you don't have any Merch?
i dislike every single one of them… future of space games looks bleak, pulls out old dos games that modern companies can't beat still
These look promising, especially the final outcasts game. I look forward to you sharing more. Thank you 🪐
underspace <3
some interesting items, thanks for the coverage i was away then busy for the past week. homeworld3 DLC-demo was the only thing i managed to try out and while i heavily disliked the mode the overall gameplay and controls were good-enough for me to still hold out some hope for the final story and skirmish
Outcast looks interesting.
I'm waiting for a review.
