Hosted and executive produced by Emmy-nominated actor Zachary Quinto, and inspired by the iconic 1970s’ franchise, the series will examine unexplained phenomena from all over the world. Maybe there was a huge weather event like a big hurricane or a water surge and they decided it wasn't a good place to be. Remember back then they didn't have the weather forecast to tell them how it was going to be, and also maybe they realized their supplies were limited on that island ie
hunting and stuff. After all if it is an island and things were very limited and maybe they couldn't dig wells there because they were too salty or something. Fresh water is a precious resource that they must have or they cannot thrive.
The amount of ads interrupting on this channel is ridiculous and annoying, because of that I will not be subscribing! And then at the end they say they're going to test Mr Brown but then they don't ever tell us the results? At least that's how I saw they were saying if if and then what?
They should have used the old-style intro music to revive this series. Good effort nonetheless.
The reeds are related to the bishops
On the Reed‘s tombstone there is a bishop on it

I'd look in the DNA of the original indigenous population, and I'll bet you'll find the original colony…
Hurricane is the most likely reason they left it would have destroyed there village in 3 years there were probably several severe storm so my best guess is they be were forced out f to om weather and moved inland

Since Governor White could not continue search due to a storm could it be the Roanoke colonists experienced such a storm within the time before White returned? If so perhaps the flooding that occurred might have forced the colonists to move away.
Brilliant depiction. This story is incomplete without an in depth investigation of the Dare Stones, and the rare English idiom carved into them. Why was UNC so committed to debunking these anomalies, including employing LOOK magazine reportage of moonshiners. Very real probability that the starving colony split up in three directions: a) South to Hatteras and the DNA evidence; b) North to Virginia, where there were reports of English survivors; and c) West to Fort X and on to the Cherokee Nation and Appalachian Trail, and the multiple sites of inscribed Dare stones. Stay tuned. This may not be just “fog” There may well be skullduggery.
That's pretty cool
I love our new In Search Of host. <3 Thanks for coming aboard, Zachary Quinto, it's just perfect!
Well duh…they moved about 6 hrs to the Northwest on Interstate 81. Even gave it the same name.
