Is contentment possible in this life? Yes, and it’s all a matter of perspective. In the story of the wives of Isma’il (as), we see that two people, in the same exact circumstance, had entirely different experiences. The only difference was in their mindset, and this is true for us as well. Do we choose negativity, or do we practice gratitude and choose to be positive with the circumstances of our lives?

"Laa ilaaha ill-allaahu, waḥdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ‛alaa kulli shay’in qadeer"
👍Translation👍
None has the right to be worshiped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and all praise and He is over all things omnipotent.
1 – Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071]
2 – whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]
3. La Hawla wa la Quwatta illa Billah (There is no Might or Power except with Allah)
[the above is] a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.[Sahih al-Bukhari; al-Fath al-Bari #11:213, Sahih Muslim #4:2076]
4.SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest)
The above are mentioned as the four most beloved words to Allah. It does not matter with which one of them is begun.[Sahih Muslim; #3:1685]
Abu Sa`id (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Perform the enduring goods deeds (al-baaqiyaat al-SaliHaat) more frequently." They asked, "What are these enduring good deeds?" The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) replied: Takbir [Allahu Akbar], Tahlil [la ilaha illallah], Tasbih [Subhan'Allah], alhamdulillah, and la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.

A call from Palestine 🇵🇸🤲
Peace, mercy and blessings of God
I am Umm Ahmed, my husband died and I have four children, and there is one sick child
بسم لله الرحمن الرحيم. وقال الله تعالي.(الذين ينفقون اموالهم بالليل والنهار سرا وعلانية فلهم اجرهم عند ربهم ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون)
The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be// upon him, said: What decreases a servant’s money from charity) A call from Palestine Peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you. I am a mother from Palestine. I have orphaned children. We have no one after God. My husband died five years ago and there is no one for us after God. Life is difficult and my circumstances are very difficult and I have a lot of dues, but time is running out for me and my children, and God and then people will help me if they help me. The doctor told me that the child wanted the operation on his eyes as soon as possible, but I had nothing to assign the operation to. The doctor said that the operation costs (three hundred dollars), but I do not have the right to the operation, please. I wish you, my brothers, pay the right to
to process. Oh Lord Amen.. please 😭🤲
وقال الله تعالي
((قل ان ربي يبسط الرزق لمن يشاء من عباده
ويقدر له وما أنفقتم من شيء فهو يخلفة وهو خير الرازقين))
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said,
((If a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, or a righteous child))

I am Soo grateful to watch these beneficial series ✨
Marshallah! Jazakallah for this beautiful dua and beneficial series. Alhamdulillah it brings a smile to my face
Contentment is truly a blessed virtue to have and anyone can attain it, Muslim or Non-Muslim. For us Muslims, understanding what it means to have Islam as our deen is an important first step because then we submit to Allah and it is that true submission that leads to contentment of the heart. Once you get close to this, we should try and surround ourselves with those who remind us of Allah on a daily basis and keep our tongues and hearts occupied with the dhikr of Allah. This is what has helped me immensely, Alhamdulillah.
اللهم صل وسلم على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين وسلم تسليما كثيرا إلى يوم الدين
Jazakumullah khair for yet another beautiful and insightful episode. Alhamdulillah always and forever 🤲
Salaams for beautiful advice may Allah bless you Ameen
Very profound advice:- I get to do instead of I have to do. Change the whole perspective of life. Gratitude for what we have been given. Appreciation of our circumstances, things could be even worst than what they are at present. Accepting Allah's decree with grace for He knows what's best for us.
ARE you soulless monsters, or do you care about others? You do not, and now you go to ETERNAL HELL.
Masha Allah
This is a beautiful reminder MashAllah.. keep up the good work please! I love how the sister ended with “I get to do so and so” .. I will try my best to remember & use this. Definitely a great way to humble yourself and slowly rid yourself of that feeling of entitlement. We are not entitled to anything SubhanAllah.. we can not increase or decrease Allah swt.. everything we have is a gift 🎁
سلام عليكم و جزاك الله خيرا..
Our matters 💗..
May Rabbana Bless us with..
القلب سليم..
Beautiful 😍 ما شاء الله..
And Beneficial
But what if life really is hard for someone? What if you're really sick and you can't keep a positive perspective even if you try? You said whining is bad but sometimes it's nearly impossible not to talk about the hardships we face. I gotta admit I'm kinda hurt by this. Not saying it's not the correct way, I wish I could see things this way but it's really really hard.
Ameen 🤲🏾

Sister Sara jazakallah for explaining it too well
" Switch to things which you CAN DO rather than things which you HAVE TO DO "
Maashaa Allah all you this is great discussion between Sheikh and other guests thanks you so much
SAW, the release of a wife who is so unhappy with her situation to the extent that she spills out her complaints is an example of mercy and wisdom. Allah answers our prayers in ways we truly do not understand. To be in a situation that causes us to transgress or our faith to decrease is a fate worse than divorce. Allah’s mercy upon rectifying a marital mismatch makes me love and reverence him even more. Allah Is The Greatest!!!
Great suggestions sister Sara. 'I get to do' rather than 'I have to do' will really make a difference !!! Jazakhallah khairan

Thank you so much. Alhamdulillah .fr malaysia
Our happiness is not reliant to our circumstances. Whatever you feel doesn’t change the circumstances. It’s the same situation, it just how you react to it. Are you being grateful or complaining?
Jazakallah and Jazakillah!
