  1. 31:05 apparently Raphael’s minions have a buff called Fleeting Protection “If the affected entity is attacked with Radiant damage, Raphael's protection reflects twice that amount as Fire damage and this condition ends.” I’m not sure how you’re supposed to know that because I didn’t see it listed when you checked their status. Although now that I think about I’m pretty sure you only checked them after they’d already been hit with radiant damage which ends the buff. 31:32 it’s the only +4 shield in the game, so that’s a silver lining I guess.

  2. 12:24, 13:12 Larian definitely spoiled us with the Raphael fight (even more than usual). I wasn't expecting it to have a dedicated song, much less one sung by Raphael's voice actor himself (Andrew Wincott).

18:10 Shadowheart took counter damage from the Vengeful Cambions, and that's what broke her concentration on Spirit Guardians. That came from their Fleeting Protection condition ("If the affected entity is attacked with Radiant damage, Raphael's protection reflects twice that amount as Fire damage and this condition ends"). Since they lose the condition after it's activated, that's why you couldn't find it by examining them afterwards.

Design-wise, there's some room for improvement here, since apparently Larian assumed you'd examine every single enemy and ability/condition at the start of any fight (which, let's face it, is a tedious thing to do). I think they could have implemented some kind of mandatory tutorial screens that pop up whenever you find a new enemy or mechanic, giving at least a general explanation about them (pointing out main gimmicks). And for people who think that's too much handholding, just provide an option to turn off tutorials.

26:47 Advantage improves your chances of getting a crit, but not by much (it goes from 1/20 = 5% to 1 – (19/20)^2 = 9.75%). If you want a crit fishing build, multiclass is definitely worth considering, since the Champion Fighter's Improved Critical Hit reduces the number you need to roll a crit by 1 (and that effect can stack). With advantage and Improved Critical Hit, your crit probability goes up to 1 – (18/20)^2 = 19% (almost 4 times the normal crit chance).

42:10 The value of advantage is variable, since it's the highest (numerically equivalent to a +5) when the effective DC (target's AC – your attack bonuses) is 11, and decreases symmetrically the farther you get from 11 (it's numerically equivalent to a +2 at effective DCs 3 and 19, which are at the same distance – 8 – from 11). So if your effective DC is lower than 3 or higher than 19, that +2 from Legacy of the Masters is better than advantage.
