You can actually play Arena at a high level as a FTP if you put enough effort. There are many content creators that show it as Boozor or Eharbad.
Maybe Arena is just not for you, which is fine.

It may be a me thing, but I don't mind seeing abilities that block revive not doing crazy damage. Doing enough to be a threat, but not 1 shotty (like a Mortu). Feels like I have counter-play by keeping my guys topped up and protected.
