  1. My grandpa passed away last year, and one of the things we bonded over was music. In particular, Joni Mitchell's music was something that really connected us. When I saw Joni's performance, I started crying, both because the performance was beautiful, and because I was sad that my grandpa had not lived to see it

  3. Joni mitchell is incredible, but this was not a great performance, (what a bland arrangement!! ) and half of the audience looked like they were SUPPOSED to look thrilled and weren't actually thrilled. Half of them had probably heard a track or two of hers at the most. And Joni's plastic surgery. This is everything that's wrong with Americans and Award shows. The standing applause just because everyone else is doing it. Joni's music stands alone, on record, but I choose to remember her at her finest and not like this.
