  1. Props to Colbert show for not adding in laugh tracks. I know taika is a very unusual different kind of guy, but still I am surprised with how awkward the audience was. Like they just didn’t know how to read him. Lol. Oh well.

  9. Does anyone else know Taika's real name is David Cohen? How does an east coast kiwi get a name like David Cohen? I don't think that ethnicity had anything to do with selecting Natalie Portman, God bless her. – I dunno.

  18. Watched Thor Love and Thunder last night after my workmate rubbished it and I freaking loved it. Love Taika's work and love him for big-upping NZ everywhere he goes. I wonder if non kiwis can actually tell what the heck he said when he dropped into his full kiwi accent like we can?

The people complaining he ruined Thor are the men who can't deal with their own perception of toxic masculinity, they can't comprehend the many layers he actually gave to Thor by making him vulnerable and emotional, Taika is incredible at what he does to each of his characters, understanding that, goes beyond their limited version of what a "manly" god should look like on screen
