After reaching Town Rank E, head to the Community Center and purchase a Pet House. Once you have placed a Pet House at your farm, you can go to the Animal Shelter—in the Community Center—and adopt your first pet.

13) All four tree plots must be watered daily… the animation when you water one appears to show all watered when you water one, but then it reverts to one in 2-3 seconds. — I advise cutting down the trees near it so you see the plots more readily.

The turtles and other marine animals are the opposite of what you expect. I like the change.
In the time it took you to run back to the farm to fast travel to diving you could have already been diving. I don't see why you don't chop the tree's blocking your view of the Banana Tree, you will have room for other fruit trees then.
