Okay I completely agree that these social media platforms should Monitor and be responsible for what is posted on their platforms. That being said, what responsibility does the parent has? Shouldn't the parent also be monitoring and paying attention to what the kid is getting into on social media. If the social media device was provided by the parent then the parent should have responsibility for the safety of the child if it involves said device. The parent was as negligent as the social media platform owner .
