What was the most impactful thing for Texas Tech in their win at Oklahoma?
I'm remembering Cory Carr coming off of the bench.
Incredible fight in this team to continue to want to be winners. Absolutely proud to be a Red Raider 👆. McMillian with loads of absolutely ginormous buckets. To the tune of a career high 27. On fire from 3 🔥. 8 rebounds. Sweet finger roll and add some slams to the list. Winning was on his mind and help win the game he did. McMillian, another scoring threat has immerged that can go absolutely off. Add McMillian to the list of favorite players. Keep showing the nation who you are. If I am an opposing defense my hands are full and tied with not knowing which player on Tech is going to go off. Isaac's with a respectable 18 🤣. That might be any other B12 guards career game. Isaac's 9-10 from the free throw line was huge. Toussaint with 14 points and some clutch free throws. Better game for Joe, I feel like he is just warming up 🔥. Warren Washington 7 rebounds 2 assists 1 steal 3 blocks 10 points. Some gigantic swats at a time that we needed. Some big time oops from Isaac's to Warren for a couple of slams. That left hand lob stuck out to Warren it was a beauty. Many left handed passes by Isaac's he has good ones. Most other guards would have to switch to the right hand to make that lob and miss the timed open window. Darrion 11 rebounds 5 assists 7 points. Make more lay ups and point blank buckets and add you to the list of scoring threats. Get to the free throw line more with your 87.2% free throw numbers. With all these high percent free throw shooters on the team we have to get to the line more. Isaac's 81.6%. Toussaint 85.2%. Darrion 87.2%. Mcmillian 88.9%. Jennings 88.9%. Walton with some big buckets fouled out early. Tech 5-1 in B12 play standing tall as the lone 1st place team in the best conference in the nation. Rest up, recover, watch film, and get some good practices in. Get ready for another big game Tuesday @ the Horned Frogs house. Another crowd to add to our list of silenced arena's. Excellent job Grant/coaching staff lets make it 6-1 come Tuesday. Incredibly proud of this team. 12 more B12 games to win. Take it one game at a time. Horned Frogs are on the menu next. 👆👆💪
Nice Tech fan base presence in a hostile environment. We see you 👀 and hear you 🔊👂. With out a doubt our team appreciates yall for having their back. I can see the Spirit Arena going absolutely bananas in our next home game against Cincinnati. Take care of business against TCU first. One game at a time 💪👆👆
Chris I tried multiple times to leave a comment on your YouTube short Tech 85, OU 84 unsuccessfully. Good thing you didn't break your pointer finger or your thumb 👆 at the Lloyd Noble Center. I'm always looking for posts immediately after a big Texas Tech win to share in the excitement. Win or lose, I like your predictions. All in good fun. Keep em coming. I respect your knowledge.
I am now 7-2 against the spread and with dogs on the ML. Can Tech make it 6-1 against TCU and Micah Peavy? I think so Wreck em 👆💪
*Houston -5 @ Horns ( boo )
“Deakins head slap” 😂 that was a nice pull. Made me think of an old NFL films VHS I watched repeatedly as a kid of two janitors who stumble into the NFL films office and the computer starts showing them all these clips. Great memory!
I don't like to harp on the refs too much… however, I will say, although the total fouls almost evened out, OU was forced to foul at the end of the game. Also, I do want refs to talk to players who are on the edge of throwing punches or want an explanation of something. I was thankful Coach didn't get Teed-up, because he was in that Ref's cylinder.
Another incredible comeback for Coach Mac and his young men.
Now let's get some consistency – 32 or so from Pop and 20-plus from Chance every game (just kidding).
Appreciate the commentary on the refereeing. I felt like it was horrible but couldn’t tell if I was just a biased tech fan. At the end of the day I was shouting at my TV that the better basketball team won that afternoon!
Chance may improve his 3 point percentage. Problem with beating Tech is you can only game plan to shut down maybe 2 players. That leaves 3 other guys that are capable of going off.
Thanks Casey and Chris.
I don’t even know baskeball like that but i knew the refs were on one😭
I guess one good thing about having players who aren't "NBA caliber" is that they aren't hunting personal numbers and it's more about team. McMillan is crazy explosive. He gets to the rim so fast when he dunks. He reminds me of Zhaire Smith who once made me utter the words, Dominique Wilkins. Just boom! and the ball is bouncing off the floor before you know it.
Good ball handing translates to low turn overs and assists. We are there.
That last 3-pointer from OU was such a good shot lol. I had the same feeling, like, we still had four up before that right?
That was the maybe worst refs of the season which is saying something
Level, did you say "keeping a tighter huddle" for the benefit of any ISU coach/trainer that might be watching? jk
1000% on the officiating. Thank you for mentioning that
I want to also include that Kerwin Walton ….. out of all players, fouls out of the game. .. I’ve watched enough games this year to know our players and what good and now ‘bad’ officiating is.
