Senior Adviser to the Trump campaign Lara Trump says the former president is “not backing down” after his decisive victory in New Hampshire.

Donald Trump last night became the first Republican presidential candidate to win open races in both Iowa and New Hampshire – a feat only accomplished before by a sitting president.

“With all that he has had against him … he’s not backing down, he’s not giving up,” Ms Trump told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

“He understands what’s at stake right now, in this country and really for the rest of the world.

“I think he knows he is the only shot and he is in it to win it.”

The South Carolina Republican primaries will be held on February 24, before Super Tuesday on March 7.

  7. When fascists referenced the fasces (sticks in a bundle) they were not talking about literal sticks but making a sociological metaphor. They noticed a DIVINE PRINCIPLE of the cosmos, which is that factors around UNITY and relationships were at the core of all wealth, power, and influence. One stick could be easily broken but many united into a tight bundle was strong. Likewise the very phrase “TRUMP” is one of the most deeply profound and resonant concepts of all times once clearly understood. There is Trump the flawed man but then Trump the movement bigger than any one man. Even if Trump the man were to die in prison, Trump the movement will resonate on planet earth for the coming centuries and millennia. Instead of sticks, the ‘dog whistle’ of Trumpyism / Trumpianity is that humans = like playing cards in a Trump casino card game. In playing cards there are various SUITS which correspond to human tribalism. You could imagine these as nations or racial ethnic groups or even companies or political parties. The King of Spades visually united with the Queen of Spades and so on 3 of spades, Ace of Spades, etc. Some styles of card games emphasize suits (Bridge) and others not so much (Blackjack). In a nutshell, most of all, “TRUMP” is suggesting his followers (the Trumper citizens of the coming new nation of Trumpland) are a specific tribe Separate + Secure + Supremacist to all other human tribes of planet earth. Understand that Trumpers do not perceive Trump as a man doing a secular job but as possessing what some academic sociologists call ‘charismatic authority’ (vs. rational legal authority etc. and other forms of authority exist). I.e. he is a revolutionary prophet unleashing a NEW WORLD ORDER. Trump is perceived by Trumpers as equal in historical significance to George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, or Ben Franklin. Equal in historical significance to Alexander, Caesar, Genghis Khan, or Stalin. And yes even equal in eventual influence on planet earth and humankind as Abraham, Jesus, or Muhammad. Trump is the charismatic great / strong man of this chapter in human history. A figure that while for good or bad, depending on your vantage point, it can’t be denied, utterly and absolutely dominates his era. This is the LEGEND of TRUMP.

  15. I wonder if D. TRUMP has considered Ivanka or Marjorie T. Green as his VP. Both are hard workers who stand 100% with Pres Trump. Tucker would make a great Press Secretary, but not a good VP, nor Pres. I'm not 100 % Sold on the Swammy.
