Many people are kept in the dark about ancient Egypt. A lot don't even realise the basics like the sphinx head is not the original one.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Masterfully done guys. I missed the live premier due to the YouTube algorithm. However this was a great video. When it comes to Egypt, three things must be considered. One, the early anthropologists and archeologists were firm believers in what we now call white supremacy. Some even tried to prove that Africans (Including pre-Islamic Egyptians) were a subspecies of Homo Sapiens. This muddied the waters. Second, the timeline was off. Way off. We now know Homo Sapiens has been around for about 300,000 years, not 150,000 and their predecessors and cousin races were not stupid either. Third there were several calamities that struck the region. The Younger Dryas event, the Indian Ocean Tsunami and a volcano or two that nearly obliterated humanity around 12,000 BCE. Currently despite the demotion of Awas, we still have to deal with the balancing act Egypt must perform between modernity and the Islamic Brotherhood and other fundamentalist movements in Islam. Hopefully somewhere between all this, the truth will out.

Another excellent video Laura! John Anthony West was a great guy…RIP JAWs! It’s sad that so-called “experts” like the academics and archeologists are so set in their ways and are so stubborn they refuse to acknowledge evidence showing that the date of the Sphinx is probably much, much older than once thought. You’d think these are the people that would encourage life-long learning and would be more excited by this new evidence than anyone! I can’t wrap my head around it.
Hawass is a certifiable idiot pretending to be an expert. Clearly with an agenda as most detractors are. Even to a lay person like myself, anyone can see that something so perfectly built, aligned and massive can not have been built by men with chisels and rocks. Wait, and then the tons of granite blocks purportedly quarried miles from where the Great Pyramid now stands!? The Sphinx and the Great Pyramid are so ancient that they do not just belong to the Egyptians alone anymore but to the entire world. It is our heritage that we may look at that structure and be awed by its magnificence.
A sincere question for anyone who believes the Sphinx is older than all the historical evidence suggests… why does the head and face show no sign of the same undulating erosion as the body and enclosure?
Zawi Hawass is simply protecting the official ideology of the Arab Republic of Egypt which is Mohammedan.
That is, the most glorious period in Egyptian history occurred in 641 AD in the opening of Egypt (to Islam). Before that was ignorance – an ignorance which is a money maker for today's Egyptians. Way back before that was an ancient Islamic civilization. Anything that contradicts that official belief must be suppressed.
They are supported in this by Western academia which also has its official ideology that nothing great came from this period of prehistory because we were too primitive. This is Darwinism and the Marxist view of history. Therefore, the Hall of Records must not be found. Any evidence of its existence must be mocked and derided.

I can only hope someday humanity advances past where we are now. It feels like we're digressing in some ways. At this rate we'll never find out what's under that dang Sphinx lol

The idea of a hall of records beneath the Sphinx is nonsense. Personally I wish it were true, and there probably is a chamber down there. But it's probably empty. Unfortunately if you familiarise yourself with ancient egyptian writings you will be disappointed. Lots of magic and absurd rituals, little or no knowledge of medicine or science. Hardly more advanced than we are now… regrettably.

I don't want them to locate the hall of records yet, for if they did find it, assuming that they haven't already done so it would be stripped of all but the structure by those who with old such information from us, just as the Osiris shafts were found empty, they were not empty but they sanitized the whole system before we were even told of it's existence, they are not ready to share these records and as such are better left untouched until mankind will openly acknowledge that history is far stranger than they will currently admit, this hurts me to say this for I would love to learn of the Atlantean system, but not at the same cost as the library of Alexandria etc, some are ready most are not, our so called leaders are furthest from being ready than ever in history, the story will be uncovered only when minds are willing to embrace whatever is revealed.
